An agency of the Kentucky Tourism, Arts and Heritage Cabinet, the Kentucky Heritage Council is the State Historic Preservation Office, responsible for the identification, protection and preservation of prehistoric resources and historic buildings, sites and cultural resources throughout the Commonwealth.
